Importing
- On receiving information from the customer about the imported goods to be unloaded at one of the ports served by us, we request the necessary documents from the importer for accreditation with the Dept. of Inland Revenue.
- When this involves importing merchandise that requires an Import License, our team applies for the IL from the appropriate organs. Confirmation is then received, via siscomex, by the responsible entities.
- Thus, the process for accompanying the ship’s arrival by the agent is begun, including advising the importer of discharge and checking the state of the merchandise. After all the above described procedures have been checked, we start the process of issuing the Import Declaration via siscomex.
- A complete analysis of all documents is conducted prior to entry in the competent departments and payment of all taxes, procedures performed as quickly and efficiently as possible by our team.
- Next step is the accompaniment of all inspection processes demanded by the Dept. of Inland Revenue and by the Ministries of Agriculture and Health.
- After the merchandise has been released and in accordance with the customer’s instructions, we issue invoices and contract carriers to deliver the merchandise to the importer.
